The Servator-class is a refit of the Venator born from the harsh necessity of the battlefield. Republic loyalist-controlled shipyards in the early years after the coup were underequipped, lacking basic resources and their previously wide engineering talent pool. However, the few that remained led a creative effort to utilize aging hulls for sorely needed frontline battleships. The result was only partially successful. The Servator features strong firepower, at the expense of its hangar size and limited shield improvements.
