Damn, it looks good! IsnĀ“t the Engine a bit too small?
It is actually to big in comparison to the original one from Star Wars armada :P
Still looks cartoonish, but that's the fault of the original designers. As is this looks better than the original by a fair amount.
Yeah I do like what I believe EJ did originally with making the tail section longer and thicker. This one is true to the source though and truer to the original as well.
Looks damn good. How does it compare to similar sized Imperial Vessels?
Another question, do you guys export all of your models to scale like the YVAW guys?
Once we have all the ships done for the closed Beta we will finish the scaling of them.
But it is basically the same procedure the ships are undergoing as the ones from YVaW.
Scaling stuff within Max is way easier, scaling within the code, might be possible, but doesn't scale particles etc. Which in the end is more work than scaling once an creating stuff for the final size.
So good choice doing it that way ;)
Kad_Venku,
Yep, that's the conclusion we came to as well. :)

Dat aft...
I just noticed.
this things look like vvhales, no really, extend the enginee as if it vvhere a tail and it has that oceanic vibe, does this ship is mon cal on origin
It is Rendili :)
A small group of Rendili engeneers created it in the name of the Rebellion. They got caught by the empire though ^^ But it feels mon cala to be honest :D
It's supposed to have taken design cues from Mon Calamari ships.
Also, "Marskman"?
