Background Story
The mod is called Hexen: Dark Chaos. The mod uses the unreleased part of the story of the Wattpad book series called "El Libro De Shadows" (Translated: "The Shadow's Book". Unfortunately, it isn't translated the story in English). Trying to give fewer spoilers as possible, the story is about the second Chosen One from the Chaos Dynasty, which wants to recover the power in the world of Septimus. With that in mind, he decides to fight against the current most powerful mage in the world and leader of the Drakest Dynasty: Taurustar Drakest.
The Origins Saga is divided into three parts. This mod covers the last two
- Taurustar Chronicles - The First Chaos Chosen one against Taurustar.
- Chaos Sphere Worlds - The Second Chaos Chosen one and its tests + fight Taurustar Drakest
- Dark Chaos - The aftermatch of the fight in Chaos Sphere Worlds and how the second Chosen one is betrayed by its Dynasty.
What Is New?
Here is a list of what features this mod will have. Some of them are optional, some of them are in development and some of them are actually done.
- Around 20 new levels to play.
- New enemies like Taurustar, The Thor Brothers (Taurustar's Guardians), The Black Legion (Drakest Dynasty army) and more
- 7types of Mana. In ELDS/TSB the world has seven types of mana. Blue, Green, Chaos, Red, Normal, Light and Dark, and all abilities and spells use these types of mana separately or combined.
- New Weapons and spells added to the original Hexen classes. No custom classes this time, but now they will have a new arsenal and modified weapons from their current arsenal.
- All weapons and items now use mana. This means the player will be able to recover some of its mana in the level.
- New items will be added.
