After searching for a Hexen 64 Music Conversion WAD to no avail, I finally decided to download SLADE 3 and rework the soundtrack into the game's files, since the existing one disappeared off the internet. I played through the first few levels and all seems good! If there's any hiccups in the WAD, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO LET ME KNOW. I will fix whatever problems which may occur. As of the WAD itself, it works on both GZDOOM and Zandronum. Have fun!

Generally I prefer the N64 music to the PC version, including the CD audio tracks. Unfortunately, the N64 version has the drawback of having several tracks with noticeably higher volume than others, to the point where it becomes unbearable to listen to these samples at full volume. The best examples are clearly BLECHR from map 26, FALCONR from map 05, and WOBABYR from map 23. I'm fairly certain this can be remedied with some editing software, but I wonder if this problem was present on the actual console. I sure as hell can't remember.
I actually checked a video on YouTube to see what you mean, and I agree. The "Guardian of Fire" track was pretty quiet on max settings on my headphones every time I listen to them. But yeah, BLECHR seems a bit louder. I might boot up the mod and do a level warp to check if things aren't too loud
What is the difference between the H64 OST and the vanilla OST?
the Hexen 64 is dark ambient atmospheric sonics. background din. the Hexen PC soundtrack is fanciful folky midi tunes.
The H64 is more atmospheric, in my opinion. It's a lot less metal, which I felt was more fitting to the game compared to the vanilla OST.
