A rework of the hero Grimbeorn, who's available in the faction Lothlorien. His design is oriented by Ted Nasmith's wonderful artwork for Beorn. The differences are in the used color shemes:

Ted Nasmith is an official and well-known Tolkien Illustrator and we wanted to show that we appreciate his art and interpretations.
Some parts of the axe texture are used from Nertea's free Lossarnach soldiers. Credits for the basic axe texture goes to him.
Very nice and lore accurate! ;)
Amazing and very detailed model! :)
Though, I thought Beorn was the hero, not Grimbeorn?
Beorn is main character in time of Hobbit, in WoR time his son Grimbeorn is chief of beoringers, so this is very lore accurate. ;)
Okay, so no Beorn in Lothlorien? :)
no
Beorn is with the Dwarves.
WoR time?
Uuuuh! He looks preety cool!Although you could add him some fur to resemble his Papa :D
AND HE IS AWESOME!!!
The axe is from a nordic man very nice
Believe it or not, that's how I always wanted him; I really didn't like current design. I'm very glad you changed him :)
Nice change from adding dwarfpigs and elf waifus.
Really great skin !Nothing less from Edain Team!I do not know who the Modeler is but I will buy him a Cold Beer for this epic job! :-)
Ealendril or Adamin? hmmm I wonder...
Well just to be sure I buy one Beer for each of them ,the more we are the merry it will be!!They are both amazing Modelers respect for their hard work! :-)
There are 4 modellers in the team, who all do a great job.
Oh I didn't know that!Since hoho said Adamin and Ealendril I assumed only they are! :-) Well then 4 Cold Beers for tbe great work and it will ne quite a party! :-)
Very beautiful details. Perhaps the axe is a little bit too simple, but still that's very well made. :)
If, like his father, he is a lumberjack; then the axe is more than accurate. It's a woodcutting axe, not a specially designed weapon.
Really Nice I like the that it isn't to "fancy"
awesome
Looks great, a son of Beorn if I ever saw one!
I'm curious will he have his own unique voice or share the same as Beorn?
He will have his own voice ;)
ohhh u tease ;) by the way with the extended editions out, will you be updating the voices of other charsets? Dain in particular
Looks really nice, happy to see Grimbeorn instead of his father! I an curious for his voicepack...
If you need voice clips you could use the ones from Grimbeorn in LoTRO. looks kinda like him from LoTRO too.
Grimbeorn isn't even Beorns final form.
Grimbeorn is Beorn Son not a Form of Beorn mate! :-)
I know. I was joking :P
I've question about normal map for units. Does engine of BFME use it?
Whau about of all units (Sauron, Saruman and all others) update from 2011-2009 years wersions to like this model graphik?
