The Dwarves of the Ered Luin have been fundamentally reworked to better fit their lore background, and to complete the overhaul of all three Dwarven Realms. They are a wandering Folk, living modestly as Exiles, far away from the Lonely Mountain. Similar to Thorin and his Company, they are only lightly armored to suit travelling. Blue was kept as their fitting signature color. Gameplay-wise they will focus on speed to outmaneuver their enemies.
what happen to there mini square shields did you really have to remove it itll go perfect with these models. i like the old spears better, and yellow beard is missing ;(
Erebor has the small shields now, while Iron Hills have large Tower Shields. Ered Luin is the least armored Dwarven faction, so they lack shields altogether.
i like this design a lot more that the previous one, the original BFME2 dwarves made me think more of WoW than Tolkien

erebor 4.3 has a different shields then the dwarves of ered luin from 4.2 ered luin guarians and spears need there silver shields they will still be light travelers cause the ered luin spears shields werent so big and it will fit their armor design perfectly
they do kind of look like thorin they should definitely get their yellow beards back asap

when will the 4.0 be finished, and the armor of the ironhill troops has to be fixed, in the movie they are fully armored and looks awesome something they don't do in edain 4.2 is it possible to get goat riders? for ironhills
the same with erebor too, but i really like the subfactions though. And make rivendell mirkwood and lothlorien as a subfaction too the elves (you choose one of them in the start of the game). Its hard to make a mirkwood outpost on hard and brutal, since you need to make it in the midle of the map
