This mod aims to improve the true Star Wars space battle experience by changing all the ships stats and giving them their proper armaments and such. Disclaimer: Current Early Access versions of the game may play differently to the final complete versions so please expect some rough edges. Installation instructions are included in every download.
Good mod
So, there are a few issues with this mod, first off, it's an XML replacement, so it affects the vanilla game and nothing else.
Second, in the process of doing this, they failed to realize that the game is not balanced around the amount of weapons that these ships have in the lore. The prices need to be adjusted, ship sizes re adjusted, everything. I understand it's still in beta, but they have a lot of work to do before they can call this a mod.
I absolutely love this mod. The way the ships finally have a better armament really rounds it off! I can't wait for the space stations to be able to defend themselves though (At the moment, a single Victory cruiser can beat a Lvl. 5 rebel station), it really should complete the mod.
This is a really great mod! It makes the game more updated.
