AOR: Weisshaupt, very long recruitment time (6-ish turns), quite expensive, small numbers, and a very, very slow replenishment rate along with a small unit. These Grey Wardens are essentially the best melee infantry unit in the game.

Description

Weisshaupt Fortress is home to a great many wonders, but none so beautiful or so tragic as the tombs of the Wardens who gave all that they had to end the Blight. The Nameless Sentinel who slew Dumat at the Battle of Silent Plains. Corin who slew Zazikale at the Battle of Starkhaven. Viana Shatter-Blade who slew Toth at the Battle of Hunter Fell. Garahel who slew Andoral at the Battle of Ayesleigh. Alongside these four great tombs-next to three empty ones, for future heroes-there are other tombs and memorials in Weisshaupt and the Anderfels of Wardens who were no less than heroes. Nakiri of Seheron, who suggested the consumption of Darkspawn blood, thus bringing about the Grey Wardens power, buried in the Wandering Hills. Carinus, the founder of the Grey Wardens, memorialized in Hossberg. Greytail, the first Griffon to give his life to the Wardens, buried in Nordbotten. Guarding these hallowed sites, are the Sentinels of the Tombs, and these are the single most skilled group of warriors in all of Thedas. Veterans of countless battles against the Darkspawn, these men are everything a Warden should be. From their ranks is drawn the First Warden and High Constable. When confronted by desecration of one of their sacred charges, the Sentinels have been known to slay entire sections of the Deep Roads in order to exact a blood price upon the Darkspawn.
