I just finished a playthrough of the main story with your wonderful HD mod. At some point while I was playing, I one-shot an imp and instead of the usual ragdoll, he just froze in place as he dissolved from the point of impact. This looked amazing to me, and I thought to myself: "What if I made a mod that makes this the default behavor for dissolving enemies?". I downloaded the ungibbable mod to use as a reference.

Anyhoo, what do you think? Is this a good idea for an aesthetic addon?

EDIT: I know this isn't quite a feature request per-se, but it's an optional feature mod, so I figured I'd stick this right here.

actually should be pretty easy to do, I don't know where but I was working on my zombie mod and there is settings for last position set after ragdoll for the burn. Probably turn off the ragdoll there and just have the last position. Its either in the scripts of defs can't remember off hand.

have a look at the files in the ungibbable mod, it is in those I think.

On it. Hey! I removed Robert Beckebans' Intel workaround checks, and the GL errors went away. Still trying to find the code that blocks soft shadows for Intel.

I found it. XD Some tweaks, and I may be able to get decent framerate with soft shadows enabled.
