BACKGROUND STORY

You are waking up, but you feel that something isn't right.
Yes, the Zone has always been a mystery, but you see people staring at you with an intense hatred.
They are not welcoming you like they should, no .. they want to kill you !
This is all wrong ... no ... it's not wrong actually, you start to understand.
Those aren't people, those aren't friends, their existence is what is wrong in the zone.
You must act now and make things right.

Ideally this could be an option in the Faction Selection menu, but my very poor editing skill is puzzled
It should have something to do with editing the ui_mm_faction_select.script in the script folder, but how to do that correctly is beyond what i know.
If someone know how to do that, please go ahead, no need to ask permission.

WHAT IS THE PARIAH MODE
-----------------------
The Pariah mode is a challenge mode that makes the player hated by absolutely every factions and NPC in the Zone.
You'll have to fight your way through every enemies in any location you'll visit, loot their fallen corpse to survive.
The player is given the psy helmet so he can access the miracle machine and brain scorcher if he wants
because there's no questline , no friendly task giver, no enthousiast trader to help you.
They all hate you totally and will do everything they can with their weapon to remove you from the Zone definitively.
The addon also makes sure factions relationships do not change so no faction would accidentally become neutral to the player.

COMPATIBILITY

This addon should be compatible with any addon that do not modify
game_relations.ltx located in ...\gamedata\configs\creatures\
drx_dfr_config.ltx located in ...\gamedata\configs\drx\
player_loadouts.ltx located in ...\gamedata\configs\plugins\
If an addon has one of those 3 files, chances are that it will not be compatible without some editing.

TO INSTALL

Simply move the "gamedata" folder into your ..\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of The Zone\ directory.
NOTE : The Pariah Mode requires you to start a new game, it shouldn't work on existing save, or produce strange results.

Delete the following files

drx_dfr_config.ltx located in ...\gamedata\configs\drx\

to also actually comment on the addon: it is a ton of fun. If I had the know-how, I would replace Survival mode with Pariah mode in my package. Survival is boring. Pariah is crazy intense. It's been on my mind a lot the last few months. There's something there. Someday.
