Complete rebalance of the entire game, to provide more challenge and variation.

New class abilities, and enhancements for all class skills.
Many new end-game challenges and rewards.
Several other realm-side changes.
All class abilities have been re-balanced from the ground up, determined by
a set of baseline levels. Abilities that strike multiple times, or have other
special features, have also been balanced accordingly.
The aim of all balance changes has been to allow the player total access to all abilities,
for all stages of the game – effectively allowing them to create any character type they desire.
To help accomplish this, all abilities have been made available as of level 1. Damage values have been balanced across the skills, with varying degrees of mana cost depending on the extravagance of the ability.
Feel free to experiment with character builds previously not thought possible, as brand new combinations are now more viable than ever.
All enemies have drastically increased health.
Enemies no longer have resistances or immunities.
Enemies deal much more damage and have more attack rating.
Enemies award much more experience when killed.
Magic Find has been increased globally.
Loot tables have been modified to be more favourable, without being too easy.
Quality of Life Improvements
Inventory, Cube, and Stash size considerably increased.
Mercenaries are now capable of equipping gloves, boots, a belt, one ring, and an amulet.
Gloves, boots, and belts are capable of being socketed.
Gems have been improved, and now behave similarly to facets.
New enhancements add all new strength to abilities and attacks.
Many stackable items, including weapons and scrolls, now stack much higher.
Ranged bow and throwing skills no longer consume ammunition.
Gold is no longer lost from your storage stash upon death.
Damage reduction cap has been raised from 50% to 75%.
Armor is now effective while on the move.
Freedom to kill the Cow King without penalty.
Many new custom items to help customize and enhance your equipment and character.
Over 250 unique items for all stages of the games, including many for endgame.
Over 30 new areas, featuring many new enemy types.
Many new on-attack enhancements, including melee AoE attacks, piercing ranged attacks, and many more custom on-hit abilities.
Custom Dungeons & Areas
There have been many new areas added in D2U, most of which will require discovery.
Some of these areas are small side zones, with small challenges, others are multi-floored
dungeons with many bosses and unique rewards to be had.
In Act 1 it is important to keep an eye out for Gatekeepers – beings who are capable of opening gates upon their death. These gates will lead you to hidden dungeons with varying experiences.
