I have seen alot of people having problems with this so i would like to show you the way i have done it for steam
So to begin i would like to show the paths that they would be going to in to.
for steam its as simple as C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War II - Retribution
so that's click on program files in my computer then to programmes x86 or whatever you have where all your files are from there click steam then steam apps then to common and then finally click your game folder just once then install to that location it should already have that destination in the installer
once it has installed go into your folder where you have just installed it
and scroll down till your find the destoyer 40k shortcut !!!!! not the application the shortcut !!!!! run that as administrator and you should load 40k destroyer.

does this mod support last stand?
how do i get access to the new units because ive still got all the normal ones nothing new is added
So, I'm a necron Player, I want to play Necrons. The overlord in last stand is cool, but necrons are about the legions of unrelenting death dealing. I know the video of the necrons in Multiplayer is old, but can we please get a release to what is available? I have a couple of mates who play, Tau, 2 Imperial Gaurd, Sisters of Battle, Chaos, Tyranids and Eldar. So this mod allows everyone else to get a hold of the army they want. I dont even care if the necrons arent good, I just want to play my army, my way. Hell, I'll even do voice acting if it helps to get a new version of the mod released sooner!

so this sucks big time. i got an urge to play me some DoW, hadnt played any since DoW 1, probably 12 years ago or so. go into steam, search it in the store ands ee theres DoW 2 and 3 out as well (havent been keeping up with the devs). see that DoW 3 is too expensive for some short timed RTS urge whereas Dow 1 and 2 are priced simialrly. natraully i opt for nr 2. Big mistake! The squads are tiny and you cant build any abses, all the stuff i was looking forward to... :( suffice to say i'm very disappointed. google for a mod that lets me have bigger squads, find this, create an account on moddb and download it, follow the instructions only to realize you need a goddamn expansion too (Retribution). check it on Steam, it is priced only slightly lower than DoW 3. FML! ****** off! is there no large squad mod for the vanilla DoW 2???
