Resized chaplain crozius, rhinos and razorbacks are now 2 seperate vehicles to better accomodate top mounted stormbolters, remote and gunner mounted stormbolters for rhinos and vindicators, whirlwind upgrade now available on vindicators, dual heavy flamer upgrade for razorbacks, DKoK compatibility added, fixed the miniature tau heavy weapons gunner, fixed sternguard/vanguard sergeants for BT, longer persistent bodies and blood decals, GK army (especially paladins and terminators) pop requirement significantly increased for balancing purposes, removed paladins and gk landraider from HQ to prevent a bug allowing 2 of each, Inquisitor Adrastia added in as another mini hero for GK at T3, chain fists added to 2 of the standard terminators, standard terminators now have their original upgrade options back and do not start with multiple heavy weapons, Khorne berzerkers are now available when Chaos Lord is selected, Rubric Marines are now available when Sorceror is selected, plague marines available when plague lord selected, marine sternguard squads now have all 4 ammo types and start with 2 combi weapons- and upgrades grant 2 additional combi weapons, making sternguard no longer stop after being upgraded, eldar weapon platform squads now have 2 weapons instead of 1, multiple clipping issues fixed, damage re-balanced

default is C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war ii - retribution. It should already be in the installer.
um sorry for a stupid question but does this mod increase the population cap?

What start parameters should i wrote to start mod? it have never worked by using shortcut so i wrote them in previous verion,but now i forgot what they were :(.

why i get a crash when i start the mod ? My dow2 retribution is installed in ˝C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Dawn of War II - Retribution˝ ,and i put the same path for the mod but still it crashes.. can u help me ? thanks for your time
When you went to install the mod, did you specify for it to install to this THQ directory? Go into the dow2 ret folder and check to make sure there is a destroyer40k folder and destroyer40k.module file. Once those are in there, make sure the shortcut is pointing to the right spot and has -modname destroyer40k at the end of the target line.
I've noticed the standard space marines and their chaos counterparts don't have one flamer at start.
Yea i removed the starting flamers, was a little too OP. Its an upgrade now and the tac marines should still be able to switch out weapon upgrades as needed.

umm probably a stupid question but do I need to uninstall the first mod files or do I leave them there
also it seems to crash when I go to the tau army painter I don't know if the files aint there or its cause the original files are conflicting sense the tau models are still in the IG army painter
No you dont need to uninstall, same file names just different file structure, so it will just overwrite it. And yea the game will still crash when selecting tau in the army painter. This is not fixable unless I re-do the entire mod from scratch. For the now the tau will remain in the IG army painter.

Well, at least this is not like those dawn 1 mods in which you had 22 different Leman russ but not a single new ork unit.
Can you use those cool ork skins some guy posted in relic forums? those ones with the cyborg face warboss and reinforced hull for the looted tank? maybe you could do skarboys (goff veterans) or tyranids with weird color paterns or spikes, whatever.

Shuma and company make lots of public stuff for other mods so would there be any problem in using all this?
Also would it be possible to add some kind of option that rises up the pop cap and eliminates all unit restrictions? i mean, sure it would be imba, but, it would be completely optional too, like a special mode or something.

Not sure, but I did already add in bodies and blood splats staying on the ground significantly longer.

I have also installed this mod to :C/Program Files (x86)/THQ/Dow2 Ret and it still crashes, I do have the Destroyer40k folder, AND the Destroyer40k.module file, but I still crash. Should Ireinstall? Or did the Adeptus Mechanicus release a fix for this somewhere?
Also, yes, I did point the provided shortcut to the correct folder, added -modname destroyer40k at the end of the shortcut.
How to select Tau in this mod?
When I try to launch the game from the desktop shortcut, steam tries to install something and then throws the following error:
"The Steam servers are to busy to handle your request for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution. Error Code (41)"

mod not working plz geting error
After download what do I do? i tried clicking the application and it says the files cannot be found...am i doing something wrong?

I don't know what that is but I might know a way to fix it so to speak. I did this and it worked but this is all with steam and the game being placed in there default locations on the C drive. Anywhere else and you'll have to make the changes where needed.
For the short cut have the
Target:"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 56400 -nomovies -modname destroyer40k
For the
Start in:"c:\program files\steam\SteamApps\common\dawn of war ii - retribution"
And try that. Again this is Steam being in its default location and the games as well. Let me know if this helps at all.

the shortcut keeps crashing
pls help
create a new shortcut to dow2 and add the switch -modname destroyer40k at the end. make sure to set the shortcut properties to 'run as administrator' (right click the shotcut and go to advanced)
If that doesnt work, try adding the switch directly to the shortcut in the steam library. find dow 2in your steam library, right click it, go to properties. go to set launch options.put -modname destroyer40k in there. note that if you want to run the non mod version of the game after that simply remove the switch.
