What had originally started as a mod merge of weathers, textures and shaders built upon the Zone Reclamation Project, has now developed into something a lot bigger. This is the first time I have started with opening a separate mod page. The mod is still in early stages of development. The idea is to create a dark and bleak zone in the style of Misery.

The first in what will be a hopefully busy updates section. I may now have to go on at some length to complete the need that that this contents box has to reach a minimum of 200 characters.

So far I have used AF3 weathers configs and the OWR weapons mod. I have also added Axe's Repair mod, now you can keep your favorite weapon in good condition on your journeys, plus Sidorovich and Barkeep will make repairs for you.

abclovh7 has joined in with the development and is currently doing some work on the scopes of the OWR Mod, he will be posting updates as he works through them.

15/07/2107 Update. Well after answering a comment about adding extra weapons, at the time I didn't think it would be possible, but as you can see from all the updates on Images and Videos we are indeed adding extra weapons. Hopefully this won't effect the proposed Beta Release date which remains set for August.

I downloaded this last night and started to play it. It is gorgeous. I can't wait to see the whole thing.

I do have one question. Is there a way to get the some of the original HUD back? Mainly the map and its original functionality. I know it's not hardcore to have all that.. but I did enjoy having it in the original game. Also... I'd like to be able to see where I am on the PDA map. My main reasoning for this is that as a parent I have limited time to play. I love what you've done visually to the game, and want to immerse my self in it, I just don't know that I have the time to manage this new difficulty mechanic.

With the miseria added I now cannot equip grenades. Nothing happens. Number 4 key does nothing. If I double click a grenade it then equips.
Just went through the cordon/garbage transition. Got the same ctd.

Change the lighting from static to full dynamic & got into the garbage but it is too dark to stay on full dynamic. Tried object dynamic, still dark. Went back to static seeing I was in garbage. Got a ctd. Bit different to the other.

I've got to the end of Cordon. Very stable. Only issue is that Fox got wounded. I can't heal him. Gave him two med kits but he lays there moaning.
What is the 'Miseria Realism Addon'? What does it do? I assume that you also change the bin folder? Instructions only mention the gamedata.

First ctd. Using the transition Cordon/Garbage I get this:

Yeah I figured it out that the crash was due the static lighting renderer.
And you need to equip the grenades in the slot first, to do that just double click on the grenade

The Miseria Realism Addon changes the damage, sounds of the weapons and other things related to the realism and gameplay of mod. The bin folder is some kind modified version of SoC, which improves a lot of the limitations like not being able to increase the grass distance, change the fov in the console, etc.
I'm not sure about that CTD, I think it's related to your pc specs or something, we will check that out

Added miseria. Now I get this when going through the transiiton.

Will keep trying to figure it out.
Might be because I was using an old save. Will start again & see what's what.

Reloaded the despondency gamedata folder then everything from the miseria gamedata folder except 'sounds/characters_voice'.
Now I have english again. Time for bed.

Yeah, I added the ukranian voices in the addon.
I forgot to mention that you need a new save if you use the addon.
