After some fixing and changing, I have released a newer version of the demo to the Portal 2 Workshop. Click here to add "The First Slice" to your subscriptions.

I have also uploaded 2 new screenshots of Chamber 18. After a long break (Arm injury), I have continued and am motivated as always.

I have played in the workshop, but I don't remember what chamber it was, one of where the platforms leave the water, please remove that. Make it easier on that part, it just frustates a lot me.
Oh come on, back in summer 2012, only test chamber 19 and ending were left to be done. Why did you just stopped so close of the end ?

Good idea to put the demo maps on Steam's workshop, you can get the opinion of many people, but will you release the full mod here on modDB as well?
Ofcourse i will, I am just using the workshop as a "beta test" platform. there are more than just the 3 maps up there now :)
I've tried the 7 available maps, and I like the introduction of the laser in the turret chamber, also because you can use it in the next room to get rid of the turret instead of using cubes. But I'm not sure we should be able to get in observation rooms before the escape part. Btw, will you remake the advanced chambers as well?

I am actually planning not have glados just sit in the middle of a concrete room. I always thought the Portal finale was just so easy. I have tons of ideas, but gonna have try everything out to see what works best with players.
Diablo III is killing me atm, too :D
I suppose the main chamber could be deadlier than the test chambers themselves. Well, it was the case in Portal: Prelude, though the telekinesis/magnetic field at the end was a bit ridiculous.
