After completion of the SOL Knossos gate the GTVA sends a small recon fleet to investigate. Upon exiting subspace they realize nothing is familiar. With no way to return they begin to colonize. The native factions, TEC, Advent and Vasari take notice of the intrusion and some believe they should be removed. The GTVA was not prepared for this eventuality and sent older Great War era vessels, and in order to survive they must scramble to construct the more advanced vessels from home. However a old foe may be lurking in the shadows.

Description
Small test match between two AI's. Both were on Vicious difficulty.
Bridging the gap between cruiser and destroyer, the Vasudan Sobek corvette is fast (for a warship), well armored, and sports heavy anti-warship firepower. It packs heavier anti-warship than other corvettes and most cruisers, but the 2 forward beam turrets leaves opponents free to attack from the sides or rear.
Armament consists of 2 Slash-type beam turrets, 11 blob turrets, and 9 flak / AAA beams. Notably, the Vasudan slash beam does over twice the damage of the Terran slash beam(s).
