A lot of the environments will be pretty dark. Nearly all of the environments will be indoors. The main enemies in the games are all the types of zombies, but antlions and hunters will also appear in the mod. You won't be armed to the teeth with rocket launchers and AR2's, There aren't very many weapons or ammo around so you'll have to be careful and conserve ammo. You're going to learn that fighting isn't always an option, and sometimes you'll have to run instead. Because of this, the game is very non-linear, which means that you won't be given an obvious path to get where you're going. The environments will range from dark eery labs to deep and confusing caverns. The general type of weapons to use range from varying melee weapons (fists, others like hammers and wooden planks, that I would like to make breakable) to pistols and shotguns. The mod will use ironsights instead of crosshairs to give the game a more realistic, and also intense, feeling.

We are still hard at work on DayBreak. we have a few melee weapons done and a few firearms also. We are still in need of an animator and coder though...

the idea is nice and almost sounds close to silent hill origins. just since its gunna be so realistic at least make sure to put little hints as to were to go and health would be nice.
