Probably gave up on it, I am just now trying to get this mod to work but it's poorly done, it just wont work...meh screw it will just stick with shogun 2 fots.
All you have to do for part 2 is extract it then when it asks for disk 2 look for the file where you extracted it. then download the 8.0.1 patch and install it. then open the shortcut on the desktop then click start in the darthmod launcher. when its done dont close the launcher. open Empire total war and your good to go!

Just as SSDImperium99th, I can't open the second file. When I start the install procedure, setup asks me for disc 2. I assume this probably is the second part of DMUC. This second part is located in the same folder as the first part of DMUC (located at my desktop). When I try to open this 2nd part of DMUC setup doesn't recognize this file: "Setup cannot open the following archive file (You may have inserted the wrong disk)
How can I fix this issue?
having the same problem as Arie90. obviously these installation instructions arent very... uhhh..detailed.. plz provide better instructions darth or pictures.

*FIXED* Had same problem, on multiple pages the link for "part 2" actually leads to part 1. This link now works so try it again
Part 1 is 1.9 GB
Part 2 is 970 meg

Hey every time I try to launch the grand campaign I have a crash... Any ideas of how to fix it?
Just as Edu, I also crash when I try to play Campaign in any way, whether through battle or the typical Road to Independence.
Have an "unknown decompression error after downloading the two parts. Need help. "Decompression error #2029
I have downloaded both parts of v.80 and can open the mod an all seems to be working fine,( I can scroll through all the menus and even set up a battle) yet as soon as I attempt to start the battle or begin a campaign, the game crashes as soon as the loading screen appears. Windows tells me that Empire total war has stopped working for an unknown reason and a solution can not be found. My files don't have the '.exe' or the '.2' at the end, is this a problem? This is the first mod I've ever used so please forgive me if the answer is obvious but I've travelled far across Google in search of the answer to my quest but return empty handed. :(

i have a solution that works for me: when i installed it tried to download twice so make sure that both are the same apart from the .2 part at the end of the small one

that is problem with empire folder (Creative assambly->Empire) there should be some more folder, for me it is ui-cache, logs and sripts

Seems like this mod is rather...unstable? Why does it ask for the second disc I put the second disc in thinking it needed the second cd but it didn't work...he screwed up somewhere...I wish i didn't buy this now and just stuck with fall of the samurai
The second file, it's asking for the second file.
The second file needs to be renamed to it's correct name, as the two share a name for some reason.
