This mod occupies time periods between Fourth (1202-1204) and Fifth (1217-1221) Crusades. It starts at 1206 and lasts till 1217. Like warriors of that war, you must choose who will you fight with and who will evantually take control over the Holy lands during the Crusades!

Most likely yes. Based off the screenshots it feels like the team has made the sieges almost like total war. You could see multiple siege towers, you could see 50 men standing in formation and you could see the ram breaking down the gate. So possibly he has made cav in sieges so you can charge in.

Total War is the act of a nation to fully mobilize itself for war, like propaganda, full mobilization of military and civilian forces,etc...
So it has nothing to do on the tactical level.

Total War is a proper noun, which has no meaning.
And he could have said it was the game.
Let's end this stupid argument.
