This might not be better. Modding an engine that is not out is a really risky thing.
I got you there.People who get used to 1.6 might not like cs:s at all cause it is not the same hitboxes at all and you must aim in a different way.I never played 1.6.I got hl2 and cs:s from a friend and later tried out 1.6.Can't say i'd liked it too much.Physics sux :( Seems like a monty phyton joke when they run around but i understand you when you say nostalgic feel.I still play on my c64 and i think most of the youngsters will puke when they see some of the games that i still play.It's because i played them when i was younger.I falled in love with them then and it will last forever :)

And on second thoughts im not even sure you are allowed to do this, sinse Counter strike now is commertial. They might close you down.
