Man, i was hoping it fired some overcharged beam, looking at the turret design. Sounds like a great unit nonetheless, though!

However, the turret, despite looking great, does not feel fitting for a target designator. It looks more like a particle cannon or something.
Well the marker has to be pretty intense for the satellite to pick it up among the noise from the planet.
Do you plan to make a technology branch of units + vehicles of the Chinese faction? Give them a choice of development like General Cybernetics & Superweapons.
We have many ideas, but we have to pick priorities as the ideas get more and more ambitious while the project team still consists of the same amount of people. Cannot confirm what's next at this point, as even Super Weapon paths are not completed. Whatever idea is most interesting and best for gameplay is usually worked on first.

Both cybernetic and superweapon generals had visual issues which are fixed with branches. Cybernetic had mixture of mech walkers and bug walkers/spiders units. It didnt look good, and branching solved this issue.
Superweapon had mixture of futuristic and conventional weapons in one, we didnt want to remove stuff, and we also could not add any more new stuff because it was all in one,branching solved issue.
We dont see similar issues with other generals. Diversity would be great, but it is huge task.

Strategy and Propaganda Centers can be captured. Only Palace cannot be, as in the original game, because it is garrisonable.
Command Centers cannot be captured because in Contra they cannot be sold, are limited to one, have more health and are built slower, hence capturing a Command Center in 5 seconds with Lotus would be overpowered.
Buddy, how about updating the US drone model & laser general's medic vehicle? They are too old and very out of the general view. Also, it is desirable for the general theme of angel class robots to give walking air defense, instead of the usual avenger, this unit is very different against the general background of robots.
