Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

Minigunner ?
I don't see anything mini in this picture . . .
He is called a "minigunner" because he carries a minigun. Miniguns exist in real life. Search for "minigun" in Google.
If the minigunner shoots miniguns he must expose one of his arms towards the enemy (from this picture the left arm). Do you think he need a shoulder shield much like heavily armoured blast shields from Valkyria Chronicles when they receive an armored vests?
If Minigunner's model changes when you purchase Armored Vests upgrade, vests must be applied to all infantry. Some models will probably receive model updates when upgrades are purchased for them (in future versions of Contra). Such model updates depending on upgrades have low priority.
