Welcome to Conflicts of Eriador! A Medieval II submod that focuses on, as the name says, the ongoing conflicts in Eriador, as opposed to the many mods who cover the whole of Middle-Earth. The mod is set in the year 1300, Third Age, when Angmar begins its slow rise to great power. The main focus of the mod is both this faction, as well as the Kingdoms of Arnor, namely Rhudaur, Arthedain and Cardolan, yet the other factions were not neglected. Moria, still in the hands of the Dwarves, stands mighty and proud, ever clashing with the dark forces of the Misty Mountains and Gundabad. The Elves, still numerous and travel the lands. Gondor, the giant of the south, gazes north with a watchful eye as it safeguards the road against the Daen Skaduriachta, the Dhai Uarioch and the Gainnhalthas. With many new units, models, map mechanics and more!
Greetings, salutations and welcome to the reveal of the Roadmap of Conflicts of Eriador!
At this point you are already well aware of what this mod is about, and what our goals are. Therefore I shall skip the usual introductions, and will instead barge headfirst into what can be expected of our future releases.
Once the mod has progressed enough, we will do our grand release. This will allow all the factions to be launched in one glorious go. Every single one of the factions, whether it is the differing Dúnedain Kingdoms, the Evil of Angmar or the Men of the Wilds, all will be playable. Battlemaps will be entered. New units discovered. Scripts will fire into action. A long play, a mod day!
In the first release a large number of factions will gain new models, as we strive to completely overhaul every existing faction by giving them new, improved looks. The first factions who will enjoy the touch of our experienced modellers, will be the Witch Realm of Angmar, the Kingdoms of Arthedain, Cardolan ,Rhudaur and Gondor, the wildmen of the Daen Skaduriachta, the Dhai Uarioch, the Saralainn, the Ice Tribes of Lossoth and the Gainnhalthas.
In our first patch a second wave of Evil factions will be visually overhauled, as the Orcs of Gundabad and the Orcs of the Misty Mountains will be revamped and look suitably more evil, imposing and disgusting.
And for our second and final patch, we will touch upon the Elves and Dwarves, the latter in the shape of Khazad-Dum, Ered-Luin and the gold-sickened Dourhand Dwarves.
We are looking forward to pushing out the mod, and hope that you will all enjoy it as much as we did making it!
Until then, stay well.
In this news we will talk about addition of Gondor and many more...

hey, firstly the mod looks amazing especially the faction icons for the Arnorian kingdoms.
secondly as it has been nearly a year since you have posted the roadmap, are there any new things and also i know the question might annoy but is there a atleast a release window? like 2024 or so?
First of all, thank you.
As to answer your questions. I will be posting a new article soon. Keep an eye out for that :)
And as for the release date, it's really hard to give a time for release but if everything goes well we might have a test version in 2024 maybe.
that sounds grand
can't wait to play it
:O
I whole heartedly agree with your statement.
Para cuando se va poder descargar el mod ?
I used google translate to understand your question and if translate is right you are asking for the release. Which is unknown. You have to be patient and wait.
Hmm...will Rhudaur have any Dunedanic units?
Yes, in this timeline Rhudaur is still one of the Arnorian Kingdoms and they will have a Dunedain presence in their army.
There are important issues I want to ask
1-there are many third age mods, what will you give different from them
2-will the cities be the same or redesigned in the previous third age modes
3-will sauron be playable or do I need the ring task again
I wish you good luck in making mods
1- Yes, there are many third age mods but none of them set in the time line of TA1300.
2- Some factions will have totally new maps while others will keep their look or updated with assets and textures.
3- Sauron won't be in the mod or the ring. We only have a map that's focused on Eriador.
