Either USMC and Army aren't using M16A3. They use M16A4 (with RIS)
we are looking into using M16A4 as our default weapon, however this is pretty low priority for now. Same goes with MP5
Wait im confused, The USMC their like a off map call in inf Doctrine right?
Why would they be? Why do all of you people think that the Marines are some kind of jetpack toting commando super squadron? They are exactly the same as the army with the exception of being seaborne half the time. HENCE MARINE DUMMKOPFS.
Imo, don't even add the USMC. Use the Army for realism.
well what i ment was..the ARMY uses all the stuff like stryker's, Blackhawks and the Bradleys, M4 as the USMC use LAV-25(not 100% with all this)Cobras,M16(don't quote me on which one) and other different Things.
OH and don't call me an Idiot when you're saying 2 different Branches of Military are "They are exactly the same as the army" when they are totally different.
TRs right. US Army and USMC operate completely differently from eachother. This includes different loadouts and vehicles, as well. Even the training is different.
Yes and they will work tougher at times and i can get you almost any Info on the Marines as i play with a guy who's been in the Marines for 8 Years and he's also Chinese.
Back to my First Question Are the Marines an Off map Support like the Rangers or are you're Engineers going to be like a team of Marines stationed with the ARMY?.
Now my Personal Opinion #1 I think the USMC are better than the Army but just remember that's my personal belief not going to force people to believe it.
#2 I don't see how not adding the USMC and adding the ARMY is all for realism, if the US went to war you would see Marines and the Army fighting regardless.
When i wrote "US Marines" it was a bit sloppy. In fact we don't exactly devide between USMC and Army. Like we have said various times in previous posts, we have created our layout of the game (you can find it between the images) and then picked what fitted best to fullfill the specific role. Realism is not our prime goal. Of course we try to be accurate, but gameplay >> realism.
Like Darkblade said, Infantry is low on the priority list right now, but we are looking forward to use the M16 as our prime infantry weapon.
OK i am not questioning why but why are you using the M16? and not the M4.
I'm not Questioning why cause i can't mod/model for *Bleep* so i figure i have no right to question people who can.
So as you said,This is gonna into a tank battle mod and infantry will be back up?
Alright to get one thing clear over here. For now think of the M16 as just a picture of our modding skills, there is an ongoing internal discussion as how our infantry are going to be treated. Will the main weapon be M16 or M4? Will the weapon used by infantry be the same weapon used by the squad leader? Etc... Although these questions will all be answered in our next press release. However I suggest you sit tight and look out for our vechicles as they are the first ones going ingame, with that done we can discuss our infantry
The Deadliest Weapon in the World is a Marine and his Weapon!
-Call of Duty 4 Quotes
its actuely i belive The Deadliest Weapon in the World is a Marine and his Rifle
my opinion is that usmc is one of the best parts of the united states armed forces
and sometimes marines are a commando super squad they have done missions that the army have failed and the same with the army they have done missions that the marines couldent do they r both good at wat they do.
but my opionion is that marines r traind better and redy for tougher missions
yes if the us was at war like now in iraq and afgan u will see marines and army
the marines we actually a big part in iraq
is the m16 the only weapon that the marines use?
