very, very cool. This is a HUGE improvement from your last skin. this mod just makes my day, i love artillery and it's tactical value on the battlefield. I have a question though will this be the only mobile arty vehicle for the PLA (i have no doubt you will have the American counterpart the MLRS), or will you have self propelled artillery too?

Oops, never mind. I just saw the other mobile artillery piece on an earlier image. Looks pretty sweet, but this thing will be hell for forward positions. -sigh- this reminds me of route N13 and M4a1 Sherman with t-34 rocket calliope rape on the hill top mansion. once it's been scouted out with a sniper or a vehicle you have to get your guys the hell out of there. :P just a little heads up warning if i meet one of you online.

I hate Artillery so much, it's what kills all of my infantry hiding in buildings and lags me out when 5 nebs shoot at the same AREA!!!!!!!!

lol

But yeah this skin is wayyy better than the last good work.

We might implent a lockdown for either this or the other artillery system, to compensate for it's power. Although the vehicle itself won't be very resistant to small-arms, unlike it's more armoured counterpart. (which most likely will have the lock down)

Well you could always put safety underground bunkers for arty/ air strikes in the mod. But that would take some work, but I'm really hoping you can implement something like that in a later release/addon. it would be pretty cool though.

No , no that's not what i meant. i meant that the modders should put arty bunkers in the mod. So arty and air strikes wouldn't be so efficient in displacing your forces (retreat) or simply destroying them altogether.kinda like normal bunkers, but you cant shoot out of them and they could hold more troops. They should also be like a god 10 times stronger than the average bunker.they should also add continuous trenches like sandbags and a roof on top of them to protect from mortars. kinda like continuous bunkers that can be connected to normal bunkers and arty bunkers. Too bad this would be almost impossible with the current state of tools our modders have. -sigh- So many ideas, to many crappy mod tools.

umm just to confirm about the tools, the idea you suggested is very possible, and I believe I that I can create exactly what you invisioned, although buildings come after units. So after we are done with the units we will look into how our maps will function ;)

they should make a "NO ARTY" game mode, with the exception of Mortors.

nah, that will give an excuse for players to spam mortars and snipers. and personally, i think that mortars in large numbers placed all over the map will have a devastating effect on you're defensive positions. Then you can mop up the remains with some snipers. I'd personally rather get hit by an arty strike and save all my infantry by hiding them in mg nests or apc's then keep getting hit by mortar's then trying to kill the mortars only to get my whole squad sniped or killed in other ways.

What setting are your maps going to be based in (arctic, jungle, ect.) Because by all the skins it is looking like a Jungle warfare kind of setting.

our main setting is the forest infested areas of China, however there will be obviously urban warfare! If you ever played BF2 those US vs China maps are about the right feeling.

This all depends on the ability to import models into worldbuilder. If we get problems with that, then we will have to stick to rural parts, cause 1944 normandy buildings might not actually fit China =) ... But China is big, so there are a lot of possibilities to come up with. It also depends on the creativity of our map makers =)
