Hillariously our extensive history that up until now served as the description of the mod is about twice as long as the limit for descriptions in the new system, so anyway.
The idea is Western Powers vs Eastern Powers in the 1950's with an alternate history deviating from reality at the end of World War II. Models for realistic equipment (vehicles and weapons) have been completed for many of the involved countries.
Currently we're working on it on the back burner, re-learning the engine. It's a hobby.
Note that we have many more models than we have displayed in the gallery, they're just left out because it would take quite a while to render them all.

We're hoping for it not to come out too much like DoD. Some of the weapon balances are similiar, ie Garand vs Nagant is a lot like Garand vs Kar 98, but hopefully the map design and atmosphere will set us apart. Our goal in coding for multiplayer is to get away from the HL-1 style "capture flags in a row on a relatively linear map" style combat (though we may not end up with as many vehicles as we'd like).
mod looks great but will this play out like day of defeat? or is ths goning to be a new game play ex?

As some of the more astute of you may have noticed, the link to our site works, but the site hasn't been updated in a bejeesusly long time. This is not intentional, I assure you. Something is not behaving correctly with our news client. Furthermore, our forums cannot be accessed at all... It's an ordeal, really. The team just can't seem to get this one to budge.
Oh well. We'll take another swing at it in the near future I'm sure.
