What Is Commandos 2: Destination Paris?
Commandos 2: Destination Paris, is a modification of the game Commandos 2: Men of Courage, originally made by Pyro Studios. Most of the original game has been changed, to give the player a new and exciting Commandos experience. Pyro Studios are no longer making Commandos games in the style of Commandos 2, which many people are fans of. This mod gives people almost a new game, without having to spend a penny.
The mod has been made more challenging, to stop you completing it too quickly, so you will get a long game. It will challenge even the best Commandos players. Nevertheless it's been calibrated for novices and for people that are a bit 'rusty'.
Who Made The Mod?
Many devoted fans gave their support. To date more than 50 people got involved in this mod.
Destination Paris is reborn!
Since the late news seem to have excluded an immediate possibility of a new commandos game in the GOS
(good old style [of Commandos 2, for ex.]) we have decided to remod Commandos 2: Destination Paris and give it new life, including some great new missions from other willing modders and the possibility to play the Commandos 3, BEL and BTCOD Missions in Commandos 2!
The mod has been revisited under many aspects, it has been rewritten in many parts, below you will find the descriptions. Special thanks go to all the people that kept trying and going through the many limiting barriers they encountered. Extra special thanks to our Chinese Community

Information about Comm2P.exe: It's a modified version of comm2.exe, you can find it in the directory of 2.0, it has some improvements like higher resolution, the ability to use the harpoon on land or show the remaining enemies by pressing F6. The missions with [2P] in the list need Comm2P.exe to run.
Unfortunately some antivirus software keep blocking the 2P version. If you don't trust it, you can keep using comm2.exe or the the debug version.

Why is original C2 mission modified ? eg. Night of the wolves, in original is only Thief and Natasha. In mod is Thief, Sapper, Driver and Natasha.

Hi everyone!
I just installed this mod and can't wait to get started! So many missions that I don't even know where to start.
However, I have a problem with the language of the game: is there a way to make the game's language entirely Italian?
Because right now I find myself with the voices of the Commandos and the narrator in Italian; the initial menu is in English, while the settings menu is in Italian. When I start a mission the list of objectives is in English
and when I play "The Night of The Wolves" the briefing is written in Chinese (I think).
I installed commandos 2 from an old original copy in Italian that I have on CD and then I installed the mod with the various patches up to 2.4.
Can I do anything to have everything in Italian? Or at least everything in the same language?

Hi,
I succesfully install all the updates and patches....the game starts but the graphics don't work....I see the soldiers and the vehicles, but the map underneath is black...I can't figure out what to do....I tried "everything"...compability mode too...nothing works...something with the graphic drivers....
HELP :)

Is there a way I can scale the HUD. Game looks great at 3440x1440 but HUD is just a bitt too small. Tried looking around the config files but no luck.
There is a critical bug in the 'Comm2P.exe' mode. After clearing the '009 TARGET: BURMA' mission, there is no longer any sound when the game is running. When I change the sound from the speaker to HDMI output, the sound comes out again, but after clearing the mission again, there is no sound even through HDMI.
When I renamed the 'Comm2P.exe' file to a different name like 'Comm2P2.exe' and ran it again, the sound came out again. However, when I completed the '009 TARGET: BURMA' mission again, the same problem repeated again.
For reference, I searched Google for various sound settings in Windows 10 and tried solutions, but to no avail. It seems that the registry of Windows 10 has been incorrectly affected. When I run the Windows 10 volume mixer while running the game, the output gauge itself shows normally, but there is no sound from the speaker.
Due to this problem, I got to the point where I had to play the game while sealing the mission, formatting Windows 10, or renaming the executable. Please let me know the cause and solution of this problem. And please fix the bug. thank you.
I wrote it using a translator, so please understand that the sentences may look unnatural.
I completed the '011 BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER KWAI' mission today and I had the same problem.
