1 - About this mod
This is a modification (mod) of Commandos 2: Men of Courage, to make it more challenging and
realistic. This mod is intended to give players of Commandos 2 a new challenge, as Pyro (The
people that made Commandos) are not making any more Commandos games in the style of Commandos 2.
There are limits to what we are able to do, but with what we are able to do, we have edited
the standard missions, and tried to make them more fun and challenging.
We hope you enjoy the mod, as much as we did making it.

2 - Requirements
Commandos 2: Men of Courage installed on your computer.

3 - New features
- 142 missions!
- A couple of completely new maps created by 3D artists
- All the 9 missions from BTCOD (including the tutorial mission)
- All the 20 missions from BEL
- All the Commandos 3 missions
- New abilities for the Commandos
- A lot more enemies than before, now you will truly feel behind enemy lines
- New enemies, including 7 Secret Agents
- Patrols will not touch you unless you act suspiciously
- Be careful of the new "special enemies", they are deadly at any distance
- The existing enemies, including the new ones, have been made alot more dangerous than in the past
- As a counter-force, now your commandos have a bigger potential in fighting the terrible Nazis
- Commandos will appear in missions in which they weren't before
- The starting equipment of each Commando has changed
- The items have been rebalanced throughout the missions
- No more exceeding equipment, you will have to sweat for a grenade
- Added an RPG style gameplay where you can power up your Commandos by finding better weapons and uniforms
- The weapons characteristics have been altered (the Rifle has two ammo but the loaded one cannot be taken out)
- New patrols have been added
- New objectives
- Lupin's stalking ability has been made useful to get around enemies unseen
- The scenarios will include an infinite quantity of variations and surprises, do not fall unprepared
- Each place, if visited, will have a reward; no more empty areas without a heck of a reason to visit
- New sounds, some taken from the old but never passed Commandos BEL and BTCOD, others new and waiting to be heard
- New music, be rrrready
- Some snipers now will leave their position to investigate (not all), you'd better watch out and...take it to your advantage
- Ammo has been rebalanced, no more easy filling weapons ready to kill
- Gas grenades have a consolidated effectiveness of 60 seconds
- If you beat up an enemy he will lose consciousness for 1 minute
- Spy's first venom dosis will be effective for 30 seconds now!
- Your life will decrease upon increasing the difficulty
- New background music in main menu, credits
- New uniforms for the Commandos
- Vehicles have been rebalanced (now they will be really useful)
- Missions have been populated with more people, each doing his work, giving them a look of realism
- Levels design has been changed, doors that were easy before, now require your complete attention
- Windows aren't secure anymore, when you least expect it, an enemy could watch through a window and...
- Levels interactibility has increased, your Sniper can climb on some trees now, and your men can hide in new unsuspectable places
- The Atmospherical agents (rain, snow) have been reproduced in more missions
- The mod's difficulty has been re-calibrated, as much as for Pro's like for Newcomers, everyone will have fun
- Note: At easiest difficulty level, you can cure fallen Commandos by medicating them or by making them eat some food (or medicate themselves by pressing the "use button" in the inventory on a medikit)

Extrano1955's missions: new rule: the Commandos have small bags, only fins and sapper have big bags, because they really have bags. With this change the game its more realisitc and harder.
Secret Meeting Part 1: fixed bug (spy was able to use the machinegun and there was a trick for alter the course of the mission; destroy the mines with MG, use the barrel to blow up the door, and use the mouse to kill the sniper who is watching the door. So we can enter with other Commandos and kill all the officers of the meeting).
The Gold of the Train: fixed bug: (The Green Beret sometimes died in a cutscene)
BCD: Fixed water mask, also a few maps let you die without crash the game
[BCD 02] The Asphalt Jungle: fixed bug (can't drive the truck) and also now the black walrus kills you with one bite
[BCD 06] Eagle's Nest: new plane
[BCD 08] Dangerous Friendships: fixed bug (the general didn't escape after the alarm)
[BEL 01] Baptism of Fire: fixed bug (patrols exited a destroyed house or in wrong door), also new skin for Green Beret
[BEL 04] Restore Pride: fixed bug (the tank's wheels didn't move)

Added 24 new missions! (was a hell importing from 1.34 chinese version, I fixed a lot of problems from the original missions and I won size deleting duplicate files)

5 - Known bugs
These are the bugs we know of in the mod:
- Game crashes when you die in 2D maps and you are not watching your Commando.
- Game can crash sometimes if an enemy sniper kills you and you try to avoid the bullet.
- In Commandos 3: Kill the Traitor, when the timer starts, the game can crash when you quickload.
- Could sometimes happen in night missions, that the flashlight of a soldier goes through walls; don't worry, it's only an aesthetical bug and it won't any how influence the game or a patrol could have its view bugged up when it enters buildings, but don't worry, you will only see a new, harmless colour, nothing to worry about
- Some clues will not tick off, but don't worry, it will not influence your gameplay or merit at the end of the missions. I wouldn't say that it's really a bug, besides, some of them didn't tick off even before (done by Pyro themselves), so, in one word (actually two and a half), don't worry.
- Since Pyro's Jewel (game engine) seems to have defective graphics (poor programming? We hope not), it might sometimes seem that lights pass through solids. Although it's somehow much un-aesthetical, it does not compromise gaming experience.
- Game crashes can sometimes occur, but they are due to the bad optimization of the code and have nothing to do with bad modding (at least not anymore). The game (and the mod) have not been programmed to crash randomly, it just...happens, so pro's could consider beating the game without saving, crashes might still occur, although quite rarely.
- If your view gets sort of "bugged up" in the night missions when standing in cover mode (happens if you enter a building), don't target enemies, or you might get killed from the cover not working.
- Unfortunately, till now there has been no way to understand how to correctly implement the countdown code, so if you want to complete the secondary objective where you have to kill a certain number of enemies, you will have to keep track of how many you neutralized on your own.
- Since the patrols were originally planned without including dogs, if you encounter a patrol with dogs and you tie them up and carry them around, the animation will look screwed up. But it's only aesthetical, so don't worry.
