From the crew that previously brought you the acclaimed C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour, we proudly bring you this sequel project, C&C Red Alert Redux! The mod features both Allied and Soviet factions from the original C&C Red Alert! Attack Dogs, Tesla Coils, Naval Warfare, Gap Generators, M.A.D. Tanks, and even Chronoshifting are all included in the mod! The nation subfactions and the story campaigns are still under development and will come at a later date.
One of the more challenging things to do is animating infantry and "organic" objects such as animals due to all the dynamic animation states needed to look somewhat realistic in-game. It can be tedious and time consuming which is why many modders chose to simply reuse stock game assets or slightly modify them. I finally got around to finishing all the Attack Dog animations along with the coding. I also set a few up on an AI test map to see how they do. Note the different idle animations and whatnot.

wonder if it is worthwhile to add the Husky skin for Soviet attack dogs while the Allies retain the Shepherd
That was an RA2 thing where both sides had dogs and the Husky was implemented. We will probably keep the Shepard's for the Soviets only as the original game did.
