The mod features both Allied and Soviet factions from the original C&C Red Alert! Attack Dogs, Tesla Coils, Naval Warfare, Gap Generators, M.A.D. Tanks, and even Chronoshifting are all included in the mod! The nation subfactions and the story campaigns are still under development and will come at a later date.

Description

The Red Alert Redux v0.96 demo contains the base Allied and Soviet factions complete with 2 demo missions and 18 skirmish maps available to players for evaluating the gameplay balancing and mod stability. A larger release for the main story campaigns and sub-factions will follow later on. Download today!

Hello this info dump is addressed to the development team of the beloved Red alert redux mod.Aside from all of the negative creeps out there my name is gunny father I am a die-hard c&c fan since 1997 and avid mapper.
For some constructive criticism.
When playing the game I feel the danger of the original Red alert like a massive wave may approach it any instant and the cripple my base. And the most certainly unit danger for instance to keep my units protected. And I actually have the real feeling of fear when an enemy tank enters my base and it's machine gun chews up my infantry.
This mod has the most gruesome aesthetic and absolute realness that makes it a Savage gameplay. In a world where most of the sounds have been used, I find new impressive sounds here .The machine gun sound real and are accurate for their real rate of fire.

Here are some things to take note, just little things that could contribute to the better interest of the Awesome MoD!
The helicopters need to be a tad bit stronger or have an upgrade that corresponds. Mainly the hind
Or add the Heli Carrier!
Tanya needs a better gun sound effect and maybe a second option weapon like Colonel Burton
The rocket soldier needs a tad bit stronger of a weapon or maybe an upgrade or Two
The comforting ability to fire over walls like in the original Red alert
I believe that the walls absorbed tank rounds ?
Either way I think rocket soldiers and pill boxes can shoot over the walls in the original Red alert.
The enemy AI must actually lay mines because my hero medium tank just went up in an impressive mine explosion, leaving it a hulk beside its group as they pulled away .
The whole aspect of mine and mine laying is at its best here in your MOD!
The explosion is so satisfying and realistic.
he music from Frank klepackie is timeless.
All of the infantry sounds are awesome and gruel
The gameplay speed is up to par and perfect. I had to turn it down slowest to be able to play it and learn..
Dude you all rule with Naval! The water and vessel abilities are on point and realistic. I am honored to be soliciting this to being with. The Naval aspect is like an exciting game in itself.
Heli Carrier Needed!
Maybe more boats and upgrades.
The particles are awesome
smoke and fire is up to parr.
Perhaps maybe add some finer texture or maybe maybe improved graphics on the structures.
I know it's paying homage to the original Red alert and that it does but perhaps there is more room for new units abilities and upgrades to make full utilization of the Zero hour. But the Red alert redo is a Savage satisfying experience and I look forward to so much more thank you for your hard work and efforts!
