Once you've built a Battle Lab, you have the choice to pick one of two researchable techs: Nuclear weapons or Advanced explosives.
Shown here are two new units obtained from Nuclear weapons research: the Twinblade and the Devastator, both of which replaces the Siege Chopper and Tesla Tank.
Our new second generation Twinblades are now designed to carry a payload of nuclear weapons. Based on the Akula design, the new Twinblade is fairly heavily armored, at the cost of decreased speed. It is armed with a pair of radiation guns which can easily vaporize infantry and light vehicles. It can even be used against aircrafts. Like the Siege Chopper, it can deploy to the ground to utilize it's powerful nuclear cannon. This can rain down nuclear-tipped artillery shells upon the enemy from great ranges. It is a slow weapon however.
The Devastator is an extremely deadly nuclear powered tank. It fires 120mm nuclear-tipped shells which spreads radiation upon exploding. This weapon is very effective verse infantry and most vehicles. If destroyed, it blows up violently. You can actually tell it to self-destruct. The resulting explosion from self-destructing the tank is much greater than the explosion caused by the tank getting destroyed by enemies. Just know when to use this ability since the Devastator can be useful in the long run.
