Please do not forget to patch your game with Medstar's 4GB Patcher after you install new launcher, otherwise you'll get out of memory crashes and pink textures.

Nice, the game start. But when i go to the skirmish menu, when i click on a on a map, the game crash :/ i installed the Medstar's 4GB but i think it don't work anymore.
When i lunch RA3 vanilla with this 4b patch, the game won't start.
At first, it didn't work, but yesterday EA updated the game again to fix the issue of 4gb_patch not working. Did you try installing it after the update?
EA update the game a second time ? what a time to be alive !
I will try to update the game, re-install the 4db patch and finally install gen evo.
Well, the game starting. But with GenEvo, it continue to crash when i select a map on skirmish mode :/

The launcher.exe is getting deleted by windows virus protection calling it a virus.
U must whitelist the *.exe for ur windows virus protection.

I got another problem: the game crashes after clicking on Multiplayer > Skirmish. 4GB Patch is installed and I worked through the Troubleshot list. Nothing works... Maybe the Problem is my resolution of 3440x1440 or that the game is in german? Please, i ask for support. :/
Same and the game is on French, 2560x1440 resolution
"The skirmish.ini file doesn't get generated or created whenever you try to access skirmish menu from the mod if you for example created a new profile. that's why if you attempt to access the skirmish tab from a new profile while inside the mod, the game immediately crashes. Therefore, first you have to access the skirmish menu from the original red alert 3 then close the game and then boot up the mod".

None of the digital stores shenanigans break my game and no mod gives me any issues thx to that xD

I did a fresh uninstall/reinstall of Red Alert 3 and GenEvo, with the 4gb patcher and the updated launcher, but I have the same issue as others. The game launches but crashes when picking a map.

GenEvo crashes on map selection in Versus->Skirmish.
Way to reproduce:
- fresh install of RA3
- launched RA3 and set desired graphic options
- pathced exe to support 4GB
- installed GenEvo 0.3
- patched GenEvo launcher files
- launched game in fullscreen mode via "Play" button on launcher
- attempted to play Versus->Skirmish and got crashed right after clicking on "Skirmish".
- patched RA3 exe again just to be sure
- launched RA3 and played one Versus->Skirmish there
- launched GenEvo in fullscreen again
- attempted to play Versus->Skirmish, selected my and AI factions and colors. There was no map selected by default. Clicked on the map name in the map list and got crashed to the desktop.
- attempted to launch in windowed mode, resulted in the same crash on the map selection
Win 11, 1920x1080, latest drivers on 1660ti, 32Gb of RAM, Ryzen 7 5700G
upd. forgot to add that I'm using Steam version

Working for me
- open steam -> library
- find command and conquer red alert 3 -> right click property
- on General tab looking for launh option add `-ui` and close
- press Play button on steam
- wait for Debug Menu pop up
- Game Browser -> Mods -> GenEvo
- launh game
known issues
- Crash when press alt+tab
- Crash when press clt sometime

Since the update I stay stuck on loading screen (after Play).
I have EA app to launch the game.
I updated the GenEvo launcher and tried to launch the 4GB patch. The patch not working on C&C (couldn't open executable)
I tried to add -ui option with the EA interface or with a shortcut but I don"t have the debug menu pop up.
The Red Alert 3 game is working perfectly and of course it's an official version. I bought the C&C pack.
I tried to remove completely GenEvo and reinstall but nothing changes...
Please could you help me ?

I cant get the game to launch.
I own the ultimate collection on the EA App, apparently the german version, but theres a patch for the english language pack, that works. Origin is no longer accessible at all.
The 4GB Medstar patch also failed, but i found a workaround with the "Large Address Aware"-Software on the "TechPowerUp"-Forum.
I moved my documents folder to the same drive as my Red Alert 3 game install.
Using the "Fixed C&C Ultimate Collection Launchers Installer" also did not yield any difference.
The issue I'm having is, after launching the GenEvo launcher the menu screen of it boots up just fine, but will enter an infinite loading screen. Reinstall also did not work.
The ReadMe says origin is supported, though origin does not work anymore so my best guess is the EA app produces issues as usual.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
