Command and Conquer: Destiny aims to take the locations and various enemy factions from the popular MMO shooter game Destiny and add them to Generals as playable factions.
My long term goal will be a total conversion mod that allows players to simulate the massive battles that occurred post collapse as invading forces clashed and fought over the ruins of the solar system.
I am currently working a pre-alpha release that uses default models and units to simulate the gameplay that will be present in the full release. You can expect this within the next few months.
Currently planned factions and details are as follows:

Quickly amass hordes of thrall to overwhelm your foes
Upgrade basic units into stronger morphs as they strike down enemies
Take troops to convert them to your side and give them unique abilities
Summon powerful war beasts to crush your foes
The Hive specialize in overwhelming enemies with sheer numbers and using the sword logic to upgrade basic units into more powerful ones such as Knights and Wizards for free. They can also take both allied and enemy units giving them unique combat abilities and, if not already allied, converting them to their side. All basic hive units are produced in groups allowing for the hive to amass an army very quickly.

Summon legions of vex drones at once via warp gates
Teleport around the map to outmaneuver your foes and flank them
Recover lost units from previous battles by teleporting them through time
Summon powerful and ancient vex units to crush your enemies
The Vex specialize in highly mobile, coordinated assaults involving swarms of vex drones supported by heavier minotaur and hydra units. Using their warp technology they can warp units destroyed in previous battles through time from a point before they were destroyed to assist in the current conflict. Vex units are not built, instead they are warped from a central control hub to the local battlefield hub.

Crush your foes with massive assault vehicles and heavy tanks
Build powerful defenses to wear down your foes
Deploy heavy infantry units to break through enemy lines and rout their troops
Call in heavy ordinance to pound your foes into submission
The Cabal specialize in wearing down their foes by creating heavily fortified bases then attacking with a massive counterassault consisting of legions heavy infantry and tanks supported by air ordinance. Cabal defenses have more health and are built faster. Cabal infantry units also have much more health than their counterparts from other factions, however they are built slower.

Defeat enemies to appease your Kell and unlock powerful ancient technology
Use stealth units to sneak around enemy formations and raid their bases
Salvage enemy buildings and units for valuable resources
Enhance you troops' combat capabilities with ether
The Fallen specialize in sneaky and underhanded tactics while avoiding a direct assault until they have clearance to deploy ancient and valuable technology. They can also salvage destroyed enemy buildings and vehicles for valuable glimmer and make use of servitors to supply much needed ether to troops on the front line healing them and enhancing their combat abilities.

This would be so cool!
I'm excited to see this go through, but it still leaves me a bit worried, because big conversion mods such as this usually never come to be unfortunately (simply getting abandoned). Plus from what is being shown, it's planned to be nearly an entirely different game, making this a tall order. But all the concerns and worries aside, I really hope this becomes a reality since I really enjoyed Destiny, so I hope this comes to be. You have my full-support, if that's worth anything? :D

As with all Generals mods I will have to see how much of what I am hoping for is actually codeable using general's functions.
As of now, however, I have an idea as to how to implement every feature but only time will tell if these solutions are actually viable.

I must warn you however, I don't actually have a team working on this project. Just me. So it may be a while until the first release.
