you know, I just want everyone to take a second and reflect on the amount of modelling and detailing it takes to perfect a unit model such as this. this is amazing work and takes amazing dedication. Kudos to everyone who does this kind of work to recreate historical vehicles and units for everyones enjoyment.

Why does it have a German Empire (WW1 ERA) flag and not a Nazi flag?

Because that's the Ostheer flag and just like the other axis flags, do not represent the real ones from WW2.
It has a while since someone asked this, so I suppose you are new to EF or CoH. As Relic went the neutral way and didn't use swastikas, we won't use them either.
Well yes, but you could just use a censored 3rdR flag with a Maltese cross on the white circle and red flag.
Oh... Why does everything have to be like relic?
