Not quite sure about this... A stationary speed buff generator doesn't sound that attractive, at least before we see its radius of effection. After all, if you are defending your base, you don't expect the units moving too far from the front line. The only scenario I have in my mind for this is: 1.You have multiple spots under attack; 2. You only have very few units to defend them; and 3. You have a lot of this thing deployed beforehead. Looking forward to see how useful it can be in action.

But anyway, nice icon and model! Really like it.

The intended goal with the Accelerator is to offer an additional economic advantage by boosting Harvesters as well as increase offensive potential by chaining Accelerator bubbles to deploy forces to the front lines faster. Accelerators affect a 5-cell radius currently, but if this is shown to be insufficient in play testing then it can always be increased.

Description

The Chrono Accelerator is a T4 base defense, available to commanders as a defensive structure that applies a 25% speed buff to all nearby player units. This buff can be applied to both Infantry and Vehicles.

Credit to Orac for the Chrono Accelerator structure.
