Those "workshop" maps with all items inside...What exactly you're working with?
Map editor: gtk radiant 1.6.2 with a large custom entities file and test_c5.map where I keep adding stuff
the ents themselves are run by a combination of custom qc under a darkplaces port, and pieces culled from a bunch of places.
used to be all qc, but I've moved all the fixed data and stats into .cfg files.
much of this I've made from scratch, with some coming from open source projects and really old mods.
not super complicated, but lots of layers...
