Cerebral Cascade is a Yuri's Revenge modification that seeks to build upon the scenario originally envisioned by Westwood in which Yuri was a time-traveler from the Brotherhood of Nod. Cerebral Cascade attempts to bring this plot-line to fruition, and overhauls the entire Red Alert 2 story to suit the new plot-line, covering both the events of Red Alert 2 and its expansion. The multiplayer experience contains 18 playable countries, with two bonus factions, for a total of 20 factions, and a moderate focus on maintaining balance between all factions, while keeping their ideas fresh and new. This mod also makes sporadic use of the Ares modding extension by AlexB, and the CnCNet client by Rampastring, to bring an enriched and modern experience to the playerbase.

Description

In this screenshot, there are two PsiJackers, 4 M4A3 Shermans, and a group of Partisans.

The Sons of Taured, more affectionately, Taured are a faction that maintains a rather subversive role on the world stage, being Yuri's third world uncover agents and antagonizing force.

While they do not deploy conventional mind control measures, however they do train specialized hijackers known as PsiJackers, who instead of directly mind controlling the crew of a vehicle, they use their charisma and psychic potential to convince the crew to usher him in as the new tank commander.

The M4A3 Sherman was appropiated into the Sons of Taured as their mainstay vehicle, while it can't take much of a beating vs most tanks, it is effective at overwhelming targets in numbers, and the crew survival rate is immaculate, making their presence unnervingly annoying. As they can deploy HE ammunition vs enemy infantry. Their armor-to-armor combat capabilities are obviously rigged to be up to par with modern standards as well.

M4A3 Shermans appear in the first Chapter One Clairvoyant mission "Break In To Break Out" as a unit that the player must capture and escape with.
