Well the difference is that OpenRA renders them as actual 3D objects (each voxel has about ~1-20k cubes depending on their size in CD) while the original WW method captures the voxel and reprojects a sprite ingame combined with a predefined lightning pal. While the lighning in OpenRA has to be renderend on the fly.
Also this image was taken with pixle doubling so everything is 2x larger than normal, as I play on a 1440p or 2160p screen which is very huge for such games.

Later down the road I might add vehicle wrecks and infantry specific corpses. Depends how well I can implement them.
Maybe make permanent/longer lasting corpses?
It looks like it's an improvement over TS's but maybe only comparatively better. I'd actually have to see it animated to be 100% sure.
OpenRa Engine still pixelates a lot voxels... compare the tank with the factory :/
