Impressive, but Ive always disliked the shocking bright red worn by NOD soldiers, wouldn't burgundy suffice and go more with the constant bloodshed the Brotherhood causes?

It may yet happen, as the colours are quite... vibrant. On the other hand, there are still half a dozen or-so units which still *need* doing, and they definitely come first.

The colours will be dealt with one way or the other though, I promise you.

Suffice to say, toning the red down a little on the infantry would do nicely.

Nooo! Not the TW Scorpion tanks! Their design is hideous!

Come on people, the only thing used is the 3 track design which I think is actually quite a good look for this unit, actually look at the TW one before posting that this is an exact clone *sigh*

I can be overly critical. Just saying, though, the first thing that comes to mind when I see that third tread is "snowmobile", not tank. :p

I think I'd feel more comfortable with it if it wasn't an anti-armor vehicle, but a an infantry wrecker or tracked howitzer.

The scorpion tank tread setup just doesn't feel like a good chassis for heavy armor.

Well, the vehicle is faster than the standard (skirmish) units, and as such it fills the role of speedy attack units rather than an MBT with firepower.

In game, I wouldn't use these without support, because they don't hold up to a beating. In truth, it's better to evade any hard targets, and leave them for more armoured units.
In some situations, the speed makes them a better decision than tick tanks, especially if they're being used in conjunction with stealth tanks (stealth tanks can deploy into small radius stealth generators), and makes them a perfect unit to attack unarmed targets - the enemy's harvester, for instance.

And if you really can't stand them, I'm sure you can blast the whole splinter cell into hell and find a better ally in the campaign :P

:D

In my mind I was actually thinking of a cool concept turning this scorpion tank vehicle into a fast moving deployable howitzer. The front two treds would turn out making a Y shape for firing stability. Primarily used for anti vehicle/infantry support, but not necessarily prolonged base siege stuff.

*sigh* out of all units in Tiberium Wars, the Scorpion and the Avatar always were the ones I would have replaced first.

Description

The Scorpion Tank came into being after the Second Tiberium War. As the Brotherhood of Nod became splintered and split up into several factions designs for some units were lost or instead modified. The Scorpion Tank belongs to the Nod faction known as The Hammer Scorpions. It has weaker armour than its cousin the Tick Tank but is slightly more agile and is armed with the same weapon.
