A once thriving city has now been reduced to a mere ruined shell of its former self, those who remain have fled to a small sanctuary at the heart of the region. The Tiberium Wars have not been kind to this area, harsh Ion Storms ravage the skies and Tiberium has sucked the environment dry. So depleted are the natural resources of these lands that even the Tiberium has degraded into a less refined less valuable strain. You'll need to manage your economy carefully here if you wish to see victory.
Imagine the firefights on this thing. There's so much open area, no cover for miles. I would think artillery would be especially effective here as well.
Nod really gets to stretch its legs here with its stealth tanks and bikes too.
I'd say it's an understatement with the bikes. Not just the open terrain, but also the lower resources could make this map very harassment-heavy for Nod.
All the matches I've played I've played as GDI. Infantry are pretty good at keeping the bikes and early tick tank attacks at bay, but if GDI doesn't push early then Nod can easily overwhelm them with stealth tanks and artillery.
It really highlights how aggressively you have to play against Nod in this sort of situation because once they get going they can pretty much just roll over you.
Though this was the AI, and they cheat a lot on these low resource maps at the moment :P
Infantry's a good choice at least until you can get orcas, and harass Nod's harvesters that way.
Though I'd expect Nod to throw massed buggies or harpies if I went that route.
