This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.

Here you can see the 4 possible Jets from USA and USA Air. The B-1 bomber replaces the Aurora, the F-15E replaces the Raptor, the F-35B replaces the Stealth Bomber, the Raptor replaces the King Raptor.
yes because adding a bomber that's clearly too large for it's hanger is not cartoony at all :P

Not to mention, the afterburner on a b1 would shoot back to that f35
I don't want to be a HUGE pain, but can you lengthen the runway 5 fold? Because a Rockwell B-1B Lancer can't take off from that, let alone an F35B JSF or an F22. Plus NATO doesn't use the F22 and B-1B, the Raptor and Lancer are only for the U.S. In addition B-1Bs don't take off with their variable geometry wings back. :D
No we can't, that would change gameplay. We aren't trying to make the physics of the game realistic, just the unit appearance.
lol thats weird 3 normal crafts and one big bomber in airfield WTH do another airfield for the bomber and another big crafts
Remember, the Raptor is actually a replacement for the King Raptor of USA Air, so you wouldn't usually see it in an airfield with the F-15E.
you know, technicaly the stealth fighter is a real US air craft, i dont know if we still use it, but it is a real air craft that we did use, a lot. And BTW when you work on the MOAB bomb, makesure that it is droped out of a C-130, that is the only US aircraft capable of carring one of those things. And replase the spectre gunship general promotion with the real life AC-130. :) i know this would be alot of work, but you are going for real life units and weapons. Just wondering what are the Super weapons going to be? I would be very happy if i knew thoes. :)
The Particle Cannon is probably an actual Satellite directed laser beam.
Nuke is a Ballistic missile launched from a vehicle maybe?
SCUD Storm could be a bunch of V1/V2 flying bombs and missiles.
I have already replaced the spectre with the AC-130 :). The F-117 has been retired IRL. Superweapons, ...I'll let you know :).
K thanks, and i stand corrected, the C-130 is not the only aircraft that can carry the MOAB, but it was the first aircraft to carry a MOAB, it is also the major cargo plane used by the US, so with the supply drop zones you should also replace the plane with the regular C-130

I see you didn't read the description; the B-1 Lancer replaces the Aurora, the F-15E replaces the Raptor, the F-35B replaces the F-117 stealth bomber, and the F-22 replaces USA Air's king raptor.
Why replace the F-117 with an F-35? I'm not complaining, just don't understand it. Besides, if I remember right, in ZH the stealth fighter can't attack aircraft just like the F-117, whereas the F-35 can.
F-117 is retired in 2008. F-35 is stealth and has multirole including ground attack while F-22 is aimed more at air superiority. F-35 was the natural choice for a small "stealth bomber" since the B-2 is overkill and is more appropriate to replace the Alpha Aurora.

I would (and will) rather reconfigure the airfield, so that all the jets can fit in with their accurate scale. The surface area of the airfield will remain the same though, since I'm seriously trying not to alter the gameplay.
well the more you replace unit with RL coutner parts the harder it is goin to be to do that...i mean what about the Particle Cannon...there is no way possible to not change gameplay on that one...we dont lasers...well we do have the ABL...but that is meant for Active Missile Defense so
