Description
You've all seen those interesting looking GLA monuments with the crossed swords coming from the ground. In an attempt to counter USA Melee vehicles, a GLA commander ordered the statues torn down and welded onto Scorpion tank turrets. These new tanks were then called Swordions.
Swordion Tanks swing their massive Scimitars horizontally, cutting down enemy units in a large arc in front of them. They excel at mowing down groups of enemy infantry, especially after the addition of supercharged engines which allow them to outpace most tanks.
This render angle is a little weird, but these tanks did not lend themselves to being rendered well. Screenshots to come very soon.
why dont you just release you first beta

Yes, it can do decent damage to vehicles and some damage to enemy structures.

holy crap! this thing is epic! maybe the second sword is abit ugly, maybe for salvage upgrade it gets better armour or speed? just saying but if you want to stick with 2 swords it's your mod.
I don't think it'd be so ugly with the two swords going in opposite directions around and around the tank :D

How about friendly fire here?
I disabled the friendly fire for this unit. Otherwise, with the extra-wide swing arc, you would end up causing more damage to yourself than enemies with it.
Maybe you could give it upgrades to change the swords to green lightsabers, or let the tank force-throw the swords for extra range?

You may want to make the arms look a bit more like they should be on the tank. They just look like they were just stuck on.
Maybe try and smooth the transition a bit.
I agree. The arms are a bit too "off" from the tank itself. I know its a crazy mod, but a little smoother and more matching color/texture would clean up the look a lot, for the better of course :D
Right now it works, and it doesn't look too bad, so I'm happy with it as it is for right now. Later on, if I have the time, I will definitely go back and give this tank a few graphical tweaks.
This tank was absolutely the hardest thing I have EVER had to code, so I don't really want to touch it right now. :P
