Thank you to all of you who have made sacrifices in our efforts to locate the man who has killed thousands of Americans both at home and abroad.
Thank you to all of the nations and the armed services who have stood with us to hunt down the people responsible for these attacks.
And let this be a lesson to all those who would attack our country, that no matter where you hide or how long it takes, we will find you, and we will bring you to justice.

Indeed it is good that a madman like him is gone but what will come from his death? Retribution solves nothing, it just satisfies a primitive thirst for vengeance. In its own way its like a drug, you get nothing positive out of it and in the end your worse off because all you do is cause more death. Plus over time you become more willing to cause more and more drastic harm to your enemy which is the addictive part. Its just self destructive and in the end so very pointless.

I do not rejoice in the taking of human life, but i will not apologize for my enthusiasm that that individual will no longer exist as a threat to anyone. Furthermore, the statement made by such an operation will serve as a deterrent for those who would attack our country in the future, and hopefully save far more lives in the long run.

bin laden's wasnt aginst jst americans, but rather the entire western european nations. he dispised the capitalistic ideals of the west. so his death is not just a moral boost for america but all european nations with similar culture and economic systems.
