Ushabti wield huge ritualistic weapons, from large-bladed staves that would take the combined strength of three mortal men to lift, to great bows that fire arrows the size of spears. These mighty weapons are as elaborately crafted and decorated as the Ushabti who brandish them, their gilded surfaces engraved by a dozen sculptors with intricate patterns and hieroglyphs. In battle, Ushabti wield their massive weapons effortlessly. Every sweeping arc of their blades cutting a bloody swathe through their foes and every arrow fired punching through their targets in an explosion of bone and gore.
Awesome, i bet they are going to do massive damage!
I think I'll stick to regular Ushabti, these guys have too many drawbacks.
That pun was on target.
Giant enemy crab
I actually got them working and tested them out with the Eagle Claw's "bolt thrower bolt" doing AP and BP, and they slaughter.
Most likely going to nerf them down a good bit from there, but with a small unit size and relatively high cost, they'll make a fine elite missile unit for the Tomb Kings.
Could you give them building damage, or normal damage, so if they shoot the rams or artillery pieces, they will damage them as they are literally walking artillery ballista right?
Unless that would be too OP, than i guess you could increase the velocity from around 40 to 70 perhaps?
They're classed as infantry, so I don't think they can be given building damage, but possibly damaging rams. They kill infantry until they are dead, though.
So, I have tried them in the custom battle stuff, and they kinda failed me. They seemed to not fire if there were allies in front of them (likely a holdover from their past lives as ballista). I think some of them tried to volley, but that was ~3-6/12, so not very effective.
Has there been a fix to that in recent times?
wow looks great :)
nice
Damn, this looks AMAZING
These are from the sudnering right, does that mean other nice Units from it like the Dragon guards of tor caled for example, will be added?
No they are not at all from The Sundering. We gave the existing Ushabti model bows, and I made new animations for them.
tomb kings !
Ehem.
