Excellent mod. Can't wait to see what the devs will do next!

Attention! Long review is coming here, because this mod deserves that.

Medieval 2 Total War is a game more than a decade old, and still, there are many who play it, and - fortunately - many people are also able and willing to mod it.

We have seen great mods earlier. I played Broken Crescent, The Last Kingdom, Westeros Total War, Call of Warhammer, and the best of them in my opinion: Stainless Steel. Some good, better, or not so good, but it was fun playing them.

Then came Third Age Total War. The best Middle-Earth strategy and the best Total War game I have ever seen. Tons of accurate lore, special units, and the unique custom in-battle settlements. With its submods, "Divide and Conquer" and "Massive Overhaul Submod", it seemed, Medieval 2 Total War reached its limits. Third Age was the summit, the best of all.

And now, Call of Warhammer: Beginning of the End Times reached this level again. It is the only worthy challenger of Third Age. It easily surpasses not only all other mods, but all other Total War games released since Medieval 2. Of course, it is not perfect - yet. It crashes sometimes, there are missing unit cards or descriptions. But, I hope, that will be fixed.

Sadly, I have no experience of Warhammer Universe (except Rage of Dark Gods), but I dare say, this is the 2nd best Total War game I have ever played. If its faults will be corrected, it may overshadow even Third Age, the best so far.

Respect, Call of Warhammer team! Here I salute you!

Every warhammer fans wet dream!

Great models and very detailed units. Excellent job! One of the greatest mods ever!

This mod is stupidly impressive. The devs are active and in touch with the fanbase too! I'm super impressed with what they've managed to pull out of the game engine and I look forward to seeing more new content. It's already loads better than the orginal CoW.

Awesome mod, incredible amount of work gone into it. Huge map, 30 factions, ton of units, no railroaded campaign, no teleporting spawn armies, proper chaos invasions

10/10

Excellent expansion of the map with many of the warhammer universe armies brought to life as well as (and sometimes better than expected) the limitations of the base engine allow for. Not a 10 only because of a few hiccups here and there as can be expected from a project of such immensity. Modders are showing dedication to making this one of the best M2 mods out there and am really looking forward to its future, even with TW:W on its way.

I would go as far as to say thats its already a better game then Warhammer total war!

Great Mod makes a huge world and puts you into the Warhammer universe excellently
Very few bugs for such a huge mod at such a early stage. I am a huge total war fan and this really makes Medieval II enjoyable again. I see many saying that it is the next best thing to The official total war Warhammer but I disagree it is a Great game in its own right and has many aspects which feel better Than the official Game especially concerning siege battles. In Warhammer Total war a Karak simply isn't a Karak I won't say this games Karaks are perfect representations of Karaks but it is a lot better than that of the official game and you have to keep in mind that the developers were limited by the limits of this game. I am sure that if they could make a true Karak they would have done it.

Definitely one of the best mods for medieval II total war. I feel like i can go ahead and compare it to Third age without hesitation. On top of that it's great to see warhammer fantasy content still living :) Awesome work overall !
