I feel like it might be beneficial though. Total War: Warhammer might increase the popularity of this mod because, people who cannot afford or are not sure about TW:W can play this for their Warhammer fix, or perhaps they get the game, and maybe its great and maybe its not, but it doesn't have whatever race they wanna fight or stomp yet so they play this. Perhaps They just love med II so much that they play this. There are probably many other reasons people might play this based on the influence of total war: Warhammer. But i hope you can see why i feel this release date might do good rather than harm.

I hope that's the case, can't help but be concerned though.

Dude this is a mod for m2tw. I don't think competition is their goal. I think the team just want to make a good Warhammer mos for m2tw.

I support the team by downloading and enjoying the mod. My other comments weren't meant to support them, they were just neutral comments that were neither harmful or harmless.

The game migth be really buggy on release as with any CA release, so i'm not very concerned about this, after all there is surely people that can't/don't whant to buy he new released product and migth turn on mod to satisfy them.

Oh yeah definitely. I'll be sure to use to play this mod for the races that won't be available for the game just yet.

it's not exactly harmless. Denuvo has been proven to decrease the lifespan of a HDD by a considerable amount.

what I think the problem is (not just with you or them) is that you seem to have a reputation for pessimistical comments, because of those comments people get angry because from a certain perspective it might seem anti- or agressive. but IDC I think you're giving good reasoning and arguments (not like others) and that's better then just trying to win, anyway I'm probs gonna have both so WH all the way!

Thanks for explaining, no idea someone could get a reputation from three pretty neutral comments haha. I guess people are pretty keen to defend their favourite mods from anything other than overwhelming praise.

Everyone is free to have his own opinion, but it doesn't mean you HAVE to share it. These comments are neither supportive nor motivational.
If that wasn't your intention, then take a few more minutes before posting your comments and rephrase if necessary.

I didn't intend the comments to be supportive or motivational. Not every comment has to be.

Just because they weren't one of those two, doesn't mean that they're automatically negative and hostile.

It's no secret that TWWH is professionally made, why is it wrong to state that? Why is it wrong to ask if this mod has a strong link with CoW?

Why? My definition of a neutral comment is one that is neither positive or negative. There's nothing insane or hostile about saying that a warhammer mod for a total war game is at a disadvantage because an actual warhammer total war game releases three days later.

That comment was in reply to someone saying that the lizardmen in the mod are superior to what CA would develop, Is it really that outrageous to say that a professional studio develops better than a part time one? Once again I stand by what I said, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed that you weren't just out to attack anything that held even the slightest hint of criticism, but It seems I was wrong about you. How many votes someone gets on the comments to a mod picture isn't the be-all end-all, and constant praising doesn't create a healthy environment.

stamstamstam is officially an idiot. as a fledgling VG programmer at SAIT college, the first thing they teach you is that no criticism from the community is bad, as it is actually a godsend for developers as it helps them both pinpoint problems or improvements they didn't see or think of, and reaffirm their correctness of their opinion of the ones they did. so, since you obviously don't know the first thing about proper game development, you should probably just keep quiet before you make an even bigger fool of yourself...
