Game replaces Icons after a while then crashes Thread - Call of Warhammer: Beginning of The End Times mod for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms

Hi there,

first of all, this mod looks absolutely amazing! I was kinda disappointed with the new Warhammer Total War game, so imagine my joy after finding this!

Now to my issue: When I start a game (3 times a different empires faction), after some clicking the icons change to other ingame textures and then the game crashes after a few additional mouse clicks. I have the steam version of medieval 2 + kingdoms, and have used the 4gb patch on medieval2.exe as well as applying the update. I also tried re-downloading the mod as well as the update and the core game, to no avail.

just tried installing rage of the dark gods, same issue there

Not sure, but i think you need to use the 4gb patch on the kingdoms.exe as well.

thanks for the suggestion, but with the version I have (steam) there is no kingdom.exe

Hey, im having the same issue as you with the new Beta and I have the disk version, it hasnt crashed yet but it only started after I started right clicking on units to check their stats and I ended one turn, gonna see if it'll crash. *Problem solved, just gotta keep rapid clicking to a minimum

I just do a quick save(ctrl+s), click more to CTD, reload, and the bug is gone. Thats how i deal with it at least. I dont lose any progress that way.
