Hello,

Would it be possible for CoC to use the new X-Ray Oxygen engine?

It is a 64-bit port of X-Ray with updated libraries, better multi-threaded support and a few more tweaks.

It would be of great help to Call of Chernobyl IMHO.

Thanks for posting this, I have made a similar post on the Anomaly Forums about this as well.

In my opinion all S.T.A.L.K.E.R. project developers should unite and adopt/integrate the advances made with this new engine or switch to it.

Somewhere I read that a lot of projects use their own compiled and customized X-Ray 1.6 engines and that most projects are reluctant to use another developed engine. I hope this can change it, or at least be useful, so each dev team doesn't need to reinvent their wheel in their own fashion.
