Can't open section -crash in CoC Thread - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. I have this really big problem that I can't get rid off. Some time ago I downloaded CoC again, but this time I used AO3 instead of STCoP. All the other addons were the same, and the game worked fine with STCoP. I installed my addons and checked after every one of them that the game worked. It did so when I was done I created my character, started the game and it immediately crashed, and the crashlog (which I don't have anymore sadly) said that it can't find a file named wpn_hand_05.ogf, which was really damn weird because there is no such a file in AO3 installation folder. Whatever, I found out that AO3 for CoP has a file like that so I slapped it in the right folder and this time the game didn't crash immediately when I loaded the game buuuuut... It crashed a few secs into the loading. Here's the crash log: FATAL ERROR [error]Expression : <no expression> [error]Function : CInifile::r_section [error]File : Xr_ini.cpp [error]Line : 520 [error]Description : fatal error [error]Arguments : Can't open section 'actor_hud_freedom_novice'. Please attach [*.ini_log] file to your bug report stack trace: 0023:00B7399C xrCore.dll, xrDebug::fatal() Can't figure out what to do. I tried to re-install CoC numerous times. Same thing happened. AO3 worked fine when I was checking if the other addons are okay, but the mere second I decide to start playing seriously it starts to cry after the wpn_hand-file, and when I slap the file it wants in the right place, I get the crash written above. Seems like the wpn_hand is the culprit? Maybe, I don't know. I tried to re-install CoC but this time with STCoP and I got the same crash as above. I really don't know what to do. I don't even know why AO3 cries after a file that it shouldn't even have. Any help? I can't play CoC at all right now. |
