will it affect AO?

Arsenal Overhaul? As I know, AO only affects weapons and my mod just gives new textures to the suits in the game, so it should be 100% compatible with AO.

Really nice idea. I always though that they definitely should have more urban styled colors.

Now If we would have some nice ecologist suits it would be perfect, because I seriously hate those bright and weirdly clean suits they have... Normally in conflicts medics/scientist and private personnel have bright colors(eg blue) so enemies can see that "they are civilians"(on side note i never get that idea...)
But in zone mutant or zombie dont really care if its scientist or duty member and any bright color would seriously draw too much attention.

What yould you suggest instead? I know that in Alpha builds of SoC it was originally inteneded to use for ecologist stalker a sunrise suit that is black-blue coloured, but it never made it into the official game.

Maybe give their suits a camo pattern ? A forest one for the orange suit, a woodland camo for the green one and an urban camo for the white suit.

like @YaBoiRevan said maybe camo pattern, or at least some dirt and reinforced patches in some places, like elbows and knees.
It would need some testing to keep it in the same style so it would not look "out of place". But end effect should be stil better than those clean and almost "flat" default suits.

As for design of ecologist suit it self, most of real scientific suits look like that, so all what it would need is some patters and dirt to look more realistic.

Hmm... To be honestly, I think that the SSP suits are alright as they are, orange and green. I mean, the ecologist aren't fighters and their suits are more some kind of modified anti-radiation suits that come from outside the zone. In the CS intro and the missions in CoP it's also shown that they're usually accompanied or protected by other stalkers that have experience with the anomalies and mutants of the zone.

There are not much ecologists in the zone and they mostly spend their time in mobile bunkers where they wear civilist clothes, SSP-suits only when they need to get outside to do few researches on anomalies, artifacts or the landscape. They have simply different reasons to be in the zone and don't aim to reach the typical stalker goals, so there's no need for the state to give them armored suits with patches for the short time and the close range to their bunker in the zone and for the dirty work is done by other stalkers anyways. The state's money is then better spent in suits that offer them the ability to reach deeper in anomalous and irradiated areas so they can do their researches.

Agreed. The only camouflaged scientific suits should be the 'militarized' versions like the Duty PSZ-9Md or the Monolith and Freedom Seva variants.

Very nice mod, keep it up!
Also would be nice to see new textures for all factions and for the outfits that player can wear.

There are already plenty of them made for all three games, some of them are already included in the Call of Chernobyl mod, so I didn't feel the urge to do that. If you don't like the textures used in CoC, you can still take some from other mods and copy & paste them into the right directory. The Monolith suits were the only excepetion, because almost no one ever made custom textures for them, even in Call of Chernobyl or any mod that adds retextured outfits they're still vanilla most times. That's why I wanted to change that.

The player uses the new textures on the monolith suits too.
The next step would be to use this camo for the Monolith Exoskeleton, which is way more difficult to do.

I wish this would change the rad suit and the exo suit, but its still good!
As the three it changes are pretty low tier.

"I always considered it really disturbing that the Monolith suits are supposed to unite natural and urban colours, despite the fact that these colours have an obvious contrast to each other."

You're right. And you must living somewhere in...no, anyway outside the post-Soviet countries (not counting the Baltic ones, as they afaik weren't that terrible urbanized like f.e. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, etc.) - f.e. I am from Siberia and even after living 90% of my life in the "tidy and clean" Germany, I am experiencing moments of love (or rather nostalgia to Siberia) if I see empty, abandoned industrial buildings which are fallen back into the kingdom of nature, so I am loving personally the contrast of sterile industry and wild(!!) and ranked(?) nature...even here in "tidy Germany" where people try to keep both strictly separated ;)
